Texy Mexy
818 Logan Street, Noblesville, Indiana, 46060, United States
Come in and try one of our signature tamales, from meat options to vegetarian and vegan. We also offer a variety of unique tacos including brisket, chicken, and cowboy (smoky chipotle beef) tacos. In 2018, our first year of participation in the Noblesville Salsa for Salsa competition, Sophie’s Signature Salsa was voted “Noblesville’s Best Salsa”, beating out some thirteen other restaurants and catering companies for the top prize. We also offer queso and homemade guacamole. People say our margaritas are the best they’ve ever had! Come try our signature Texy Mexy margarita as well as the Texas Cactus margarita made with a prickly pear liqueur as well as various homemade margaritas, beer, and sangria available from our bar. If you've got a sweet tooth, try our sweet, chocolatey, and delicious Texas Sheet Cake! It's made in-house and is a favorite that can be served with or without ice cream.

Cute restaurant with a HUGE variety of tacos to satisfy the most to least adventurous eater. Several other dishes, including some catered to kids, available as well- but I think the tacos are the main event! Guac, salsa, and queso were quite tasty as well. Will definitely return ?

I was not expecting real mexican food since the name implies Tex mex so there is a touch different to mexican cuisine, what I was surprised was the price for a taco, I didn't order it because I was immediately scared for the price, almost 5 dollars for a taco? Wow! So I didn't adventure to ask for one, maybe it was a enormous taco that was worth the price, honestly I don't know. Maybe next time I will be try one of those. I tried the enchilada plate, with two enchiladas, and unfortunately it was too small for my appetite and had to order something else. I was visiting noblesville so I don't know if the prices are more expensive, for the same money I would eat better in so many places in Indy. So I guess I need to work more hours.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled. Texy Mexy was absolutely perfect tonight! My wife and I stumbled upon this place on a whim and ordered the pick 3 street tacos that came with individual containers of queso, salsa, and guac, all for under 11 bucks. Everything was delicious and the little containers she loved held everything, so it made for a perfect little picnic. Definitely 5/5. We will without doubt be coming back.

I was first introduced to Texy Mexy through a Tamales and Tequilas class. We were taught step-by-step on how to make homemade tamales while sampling various types of tequila. The tamales were excellent as was the tequila. Fast forward, Texy Mexy is one of our go-to after work hangouts to grab some chips and guac and a margarita or two! Their marg mix is never from a pre-mixed bottled which makes them extra good! I've never been disappointed with any food I've purchased from them. Highly recommend!

I attended the Tamale class (and tequila tasting!) event hosted by Texy Mexy and had the best time! We came early to the class and it was packed! We ordered food and margs (the Christmas and the blueberry jalapeño). The class was interesting but there was a microphone problem so I think the issues started there and unfortunately when you are trying to learn something new, being able to listen is important. The food was delicious but we were disappointed the cowboy tacos didn't come with the blue corn tortilla. It also took forever to get food because everyone showed up around 6:15 for the 7pm class and then we all stood in a very long line. It would have at least helped if the drinks were done separately imo. Did I mention people were served in different containers? I'm not an expert on what 8 oz is but it sure looked like different amounts depending on if you got certain glasses... Overall I'm giving it four stars because the event was fun and we left with tamales and the tacos and margs were good.

My family and I had lunch on a Saturday afternoon here recently. What a nice little spot on the square in Noblesville! Very cute inside, the person who rang us up (who I think may have been the owner) was very sweet. We ordered a kids quesadilla, chips and queso, the daily special chorizo Mac and cheese, and 2 of their street tacos. Everything was really delicious! The salsa we got with our chips was hands down the best salsa I've ever tasted in my life. If you like a wonderful, smooth, salsa with just the right balance of onion and cilantro, you have to try this at least once in your life! The total was about $28, which is a little pricier than I would have thought, but not too bad considering the quality of the food. The only criticism I would have is the lack of any high chairs in the building. My 2 year old son had to sit in a normal chair when he just doesn't quite fit. Invest in just 1-2 high chairs and this is a major 5 star for me. Hope to be back and try their yummy looking tamales soon!

18-Oct-2019I LOVE this new little gem in downtown Noblesville! I ate there with my friend and we ordered different types of tacos. I ordered chicken tacos on lettuce wraps. They were so tasty and fresh. My friend ordered the carnitas tacos and enjoyed them. The chips and salsa were free. We each ordered a hand crafted margarita. Mine was the Prickly Pear. She ordered the Watermelon. Both came out looking beautiful, with black Hawaiian salt on the rims. Mine was light and refreshing and had a mint sprig with it. My friend's had fresh watermelon diced into it and tasted like a grownup blow pop with just the right amount of sweetness. The pricing was reasonable and it definitely gave Girls Night Out the perfect start!

Was hesitant, however hands down the best tacos I've ever had. We ordered 2 tacos each: the brisket, the cowboy and 2 shrimp. They were so good, when we finished we ordered two more shrimp tacos. The mango salsa is so good. And the pineapple slaw makes it filling and fresh. We also ordered two margs. Cucumber mint which was perfect!! And the peach. You get your moneys worth. Very modern layout and set up. We WILL be back!

What an enjoyable experience all the way around! Texy Mexy is tucked next Syd's in downtown Noblesville. The first thing I love about it is the beautiful yellow tile was you walk in to a spacious exposed brick dining room. They say tamales are their thing but honestly the entire menu of tacos, elotes, margaritas, all the way down to the chips and salsa are perfection. I got the pork tamale, elote, and peach margarita. All the food was delicious and the margarita was super refreshing. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. Such a fun and calm atmosphere. Perfect for families or dates. I'm so happy there is a restaurant like this near my house!

Not easy to find parking. But, once you go in the service is excellent! Atmosphere nice and clean. Tacos delicious. There's a separate order line. You sit down with a number displayed for someone to bring your order out to you when it's ready. No self serve fountain drinks, but bottle drinks available including bottled water ($1.00 Ice Mountain) Several alcoholic drinks available including margaritas. Our friend brought us. We really liked and would recommend the Cowboy taco and the shrimp taco. The shrimp taco comes with a nice mango salsa. I had a vegetarian taco that I liked; next time I will ask that to be wrapped in a lettuce shell instead of the regular taco shell. I wasn't aware that this could be ordered like this. Tamales were ok though I prefer that mine are not served opened to retain heat. They were warm at best and not temperature hot as I prefer. Also, no condiment bar of hot sauces readily available that I could see. I do really like that while we were waiting someone brought us chips and salsa on the house several times. And offered to refill our courtesy cups of water.

Really I'd give it 4.5 stars. Service was friendly and helpful. Took time to explain the menu and answer any questions that we had. Different people checked in with us throughout the meal. Top notch. Salsa and margaritas were amazing. Salsa had a nice smoky flavor. Margaritas were hand crafted. Honestly one of the best I've had. I could eat chips and salsa while drinking margaritas all day here and be totally happy. I also had a pork tamale and a cowboy taco. These were not as good as the other items. Meat in both was pretty dry. Flavors didn't come out as much as I was hoping. I wish the soft corn tortilla shells on the taco had been warmed up more. Corn tortilla shells can be mealy and I feel heating them up definitely helps with the taste and texture. I'll definitely be back. They were out of guacamole, but I have confidence that it will be tremendous, especially if they treat it with the same hand-crafted care as the margaritas and salsa. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. You can tell they take pride in providing a hand-crafted experience. They have earned repeat visits.

Love this little spot on the square. Great food. The Cowboy Taco is great, has a nice margarita to go with it. Salsa is the best in town. The building is quaint, exposed brick walls. We were there on a Friday, and they had live music.Have to say, they can be a little slow at times, but worth the wait.

I'm very pleased to see local businesses fill the Noblesville square and this is a great addition. We ordered a mix of kids meals, burritos, and veggie tacos. I was a little picky and asked for vegan veggie tacos and the crew delivered. Service was great and the space has been nice done.

I’ll start out by saying that we are taco snobs and anything resembling a gringo taco or Tex mex is a turnoff. This is a Tex mex restaurant as the name implies. It is not an authentic Mexican restaurant. We read an article about this...restaurant and thought we’d give it a shot. We drove 40 minutes and were honestly not disappointed. It’s not cheap but it’s very good and we thought it was well worth it and would return. Between the 5 of us, we had a pretty good assortment of tacos and nachos. Nothing disappointed. Quality food. We even had a couple of margaritas. And I am a margarita snob. I find most Mexican restaurant margaritas disappointing. I tried the Texas pear margarita as recommended. It did not disappoint...I wish I had another. I highly recommend this restaurant! Great food, friendly staff, and lotsa character.More

04-Apr-2019New "Mexican" place. Street tacos in a store front. Homemade salsa, so good, you can buy a take home container. Brisket, chicken, steak, veggies, with their own pickled onion and other yummy goodness! Place your protein choice in tacos, quesadillas, or a taco salad. Side chips and salsa accompany each item. We ordered the make your own guacamole and had fun. Bar for margarita or beers, bottled sodas, water, brewed iced tea. Simple, yet tasty.

Loved the salsa!! Different kind of chips, but delicious. The chicken quesadillas was flavorful, but the wrap was a bit soggy. The Cowboy taco and black bean and corn tamale was delicious .

The brisket taco with chips and salsa was fantastic! Their salsa is homemade and available for purchase. Great environment and incredibly clean with an appetising menu. The owner, Sophie and staff were super friendly. Do yourself a favor and eat here, bring your family and friends and support local business in the process.

The food here is so good! It can sometimes take a but to get your food, so be prepared for a possible wait. They have alcoholic drinks available now, too! The place and restrooms are clean. The location is awesome, being right on Noblesville square.

Neat little local spot, love the look of the place. Lady taking orders at the counter was very friendly. Owner came around as we were eating and checked on our experience, always a nice touch. I tried the cowboy taco, which had Chipotle marinated barbacoa on a blue corn tortilla, as well as a brisket taco. Both were tasty, a little pricey, but we're decent sized. The meat on both was well cooked, tender and not dry, though barbacoa needed salt bad. Both came with a tiny cup of salsa and some chips. Salsa was pretty good, fresh but not much spice. Chips tasted like regular food service white corn chips, not bad but not great. All in all I was pleased and will return to try more items.

Visited for lunch and the Cowboy Taco (chipotle beef) was recommended by an employee. It was bursting with flavor and the meat was so tender. Chips and salsa were a great accompaniment, and I enjoyed an ice cold bottled coke. The dining area is clean. It is simply yet tastefully decorated. I recommend visiting and supporting this locally owned establishment. It was very, very good.

Oh my. Best tamale I've ever had. Taco was fantastic as well. But if you only come here for a few tamales, do it. Well worth it. Very limited menu but what's on it is good and fresh. Need!to figure out the chips and salsa thing. You get chips but the salsa is served in extremely tiny cups and is not nearly enough for the amount of chips. But I'll certainly be back!

07-Dec-2018What a cute little spot on the square in Noblesville that I stumbled upon! Here's what I liked: the atmosphere and great bar seating with outlets, friendly service, the salsa, the roasted poblano potato bacon soup (so good!), to go box had all the essentialsHere's what could be better: the chicken tamale was very bland in my opinion. I put some of the salsa on it and it made it a little better. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Noblesville... looks like they might even have a bar with margaritas??

29-Nov-2018From being the go-to place at the Farmer's Market, to now having a store front in Downtown Noblesville! It's been so fun to watch Texy Mexy grow! This new restaurant is absolutely adorable (I'm obsessed with their front counter tile, and brick wall exposure) it's also super spacious to gather with friends, and the food is to die for! They change up the menu often, I highly recommend when you first walk in to grab the clip board of items. It's a tough decision, everything sounds so good- it was to choose between the roasted butternut squash tamale or the pork tamale, and the brisket tacos. So I chose all three! I also have always been a huge fan of her guacamole so I, of course, had to get a side of that as well! It's freshly made right in front of your eyes, it was quick and easy too, didn't have to wait long. I had to get back to work so I got it all to go. I would highly recommend the next time you're in Noblesville to check this adorable little taco gem out, you will not be disappointed! Eat inside with your friends or grab it to go- I see nothing BUT success for this taco gem!
